UMI hotel offers 28 elegantly designed rooms with nature and comfort as the guiding light. They offer both double and twin rooms with private bathrooms that have either a view towards the magnificent subglacial volcano Eyjafjallajökull or onto a beautiful field that ends by the hotel's black sandy beach.

The black beach and the fields around the hotel are ideal to go on long walks or even taking the hotel's fat bikes out for a ride.

The hotel’s restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with a stunning view of the Westman Islands and the southern coastline. The restaurant’s beautiful design and the spectacular unspoiled nature surrounding it speak to the restaurant’s cuisine. Using only fresh local ingredients sourced from all over Iceland. They rely heavily on the seasons and the menu is ever-changing and evolving with each coming season. The food is cooked to perfection and served in a warm inviting atmosphere.
