Ulfljótsvatn Scout Centre

One of the largest public campsites in Iceland is owned and run by the Scout movement at Úlfljótsvatn Outdoor and Scout Centre. With a family friendly setting, the staff runs activities during weekends from June to August.

Indoor accommodatin is available by advanced booking. Our campers can enjoy a great outdoor surrounding, with plenty of opportunities for self-led hikes and activities. On-site you will find a football pitch, a volleyball field, two obstacle courses (one of them being on water!), climbing net, frisbee golf course, football golf course and more.

During high season weekends our staff runs activities for campers, such as climbing, archery and paddling. Check for timings at the on-site Service Center.

Fishing within the campsite perimeter is included in the camp fee. So are hot showers and access to a small kitchen/dining room in the Service Center that also hosts a small shop with soft drinks, sweets and camping gear. Electricity connections are available, as well as laundry washing and dumping and refilling for RV‘s.
