Snæland Travel is one of Iceland’s oldest coach and travel companies offering tours in Iceland , founded in 1945 by Snæland Grímsson and his family. Still family-run today, the company operates a wide range of services with a focus on personal attention, built on decades of local knowledge and experience.
Snæland Travel offers:Day tours and longer group tours Super jeep and glacier excursions Private day tours Coach rental and transport services Airport transfers Tailor-made tours for groups and individuals The company owns and operates its own fleet, including minibuses, full-size coaches, and specially equipped highland vehicles. All vehicles are well maintained by the in-house team, located under the same roof as the main office.
Snæland Travel also operates the brands Travel Reykjavík, Private Driver, and Airport Shuttle Iceland, providing a wide range of travel services for international visitors and industry partners.
