Klausturkaffi Café

Klausturkaffi is located in the cultural centre at Skriðuklaustur in Fljotsdalur valley, 39 km from Egilsstaðir. The restaurant offers lunch and cake buffet every day when it is open along with the small menu.

The focus is on the Icelandic cuisine with a special interest in local food products as the Icelandic lamb, reindeer meat, stone bramble berries and mushrooms from the growing forest of the area. All bread and cakes are homebaked.

There are seats for 50 guests and in the summertime, you can also sit out on the south porch. Klausturkaffi is not open in the evening except for groups that book in advance and in connection with special events at the cultural centre.
