KEF has been a flagship restaurant in Keflavik for years and is popular with locals as well as travellers. We welcome you to wine and dine in our beautiful and newly renovated dining room, bar and bistro where we also serve breakfast every day of the year.

Our main focus is on adventurous dishes made with fresh local ingredients and professional and friendly service that will make you feel right at home. Good dining is an inseparable part of a good trip and we have got you covered in a variety of ways. KEF restaurant is a first class a la carte restaurant serving adventurous dishes, made with only the freshest ingredients from our local dealers so you can always be sure of the quality.

Enjoy a glass of hand picked wine, select from a wide variety of cocktails or taste Icelandic brewed draft beer from while receiving outstanding prompt and personal wait-staff service. KEF bar is a small bar with a large selection of wines, whiskeys, beers and cocktails as well as your favorite coffee drinks and always manned with the friendliest bartenders money can buy.

KEF bistro is located in our breakfast room and is open for hotelguests and walk-in‘s for casual relaxation, drinks and light snacks while enjoying whatever is airing on the big screen. KEF breakfast is renowned in Iceland and few if any hotels offer a spread like ours; open sandwiches, freshly cut fruit and vegetables, a selection of cold cut meats, eggs and cheeses and a generous selection of bread, cakes and pastry, as well as the standard cereals and yogurt.

Gluten-free bread and dairy-free milk is available upon request and the traditional Icelandic super-foods Skyr and Lýsi are fixed items. As are a choice of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, milk, juice and fresh Icelandic water. Hot food is served after 6:00am; sausages, baked beans, hot sandwiches and hot casseroles with cheese, sausages, potatoes and vegetables. The buffet is open from 5:00-10:00 am.

KEF is perfect for dining solo, with a partner or in a group. It is also a great location to reserve for a private gathering and we welcome hotelguests and walk-in‘s alike.
