Hunkubakkar Guesthouse has to offer 20 rooms in total. There are six rooms with shared facilities, six bigger cottages for 3 and 4 persons and eight double rooms with private bathrooms.
The houses are close to the main building where the reception and lobby room/bar and restaurant are situated. Our restaurant serves local dishes and grilled lamb from our farm. There can be seated up to 50 persons, and we gladly welcome groups for dinner and a coffee/cake buffet.
The surroundings of Hunkubakkar are very beautiful and green. There are many hiking trails, and Hunkubakkar is centrally situated for many of the most famous "pearls of nature "like Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, Laki crates, Fagriwaterfall, Landmannalaugar, Skaftafell, and the Glacier lagoon.
