Farmhouse Lodge

Farmhouse Lodge is very conveniently located for those who are travelling on the south coast from Reykjavik, Whether enjoying a days journey to us taking in the highlights of Icelandic nature on your way to elsewhere or spending your holiday experiencing the south coast the Farmhouse is conveniently located only 170 km from Reykjavik. This property is at Skeiðflöt about 100 square meters land only 10 minutes from Vík í Mýrdal.

For a centuries there has been farm at Skeiðflöt with animals, but now days we farm tourists and one of the house we call Farmhouse Lodge can accommodate more than 20 people, we welcome people every day to our place and you are free to stay as long as you like.

Every morning there is a breakfast buffet ready from 8-10 am. Farmhouse Lodge or Skeiðflöt is 14 km from the centre of Vík í Mýrdal where there lives about 400 people, and only 250 meters from road number one.

Guests have access to free parking and luggage storage while they stay ot the Lodge. In Vík í Mýrdal there is gas station, good Restaurants, public swimming pool, bank, supermarket and more service.
