Beautiful paths for walks are all around Bragdavellir, suited for both advanced hikers and beginners. You might even run into our farm animals on your walks! (Ducks, chickens, horses, rabbits and sheep).

In walking distance from the cottages is Bragdavellir Barn Restaurant for those who want to taste an of local ingredients. The restaurant is open during the summer months.

It is located in an old Barn and cowshed that has been renovated into a bistro restaurant offering a simple but good menu with an emphasis on local ingredients. Barn restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that makes you forget about everyday worries and gives you a chance to relax and unwind.

Approx 20min walk from the restaurant is a beautiful waterfall named Snædalsfoss which is an easy hike to walk to. Along the way, you might run into our ducks, chickens, horses or even sheep.

The restaurant is open during the summer months and you are welcome to call for further information. We also offer accommodation in 2-8 person cottages all year round.
