Ásgrímur Jónsson Museum - The Artist‘s Home

Artist‘s home Ásgrímur Jónsson (1876-1958) is one of the pioneers of Icelandic art. At his death he bequeathed to the Icelandic nation his works and belongings.

The museum is situated in Ásgrímur‘s former home and studio and displays small exhibitions of his works. The museum is in a walking distance from the National Gallery.

Opening hours: May 1-Sep 30: Daily 10am-5pm Oct 1-Apr 30: Tue-Sun 10am-5pm
