Rannveig is ready to knit through the meeting nonsense.

Now, just choose a time—please note/confirm the time zone!—and you're one step closer to booking Rannveig and skipping your next very skippable meeting.

Meet Rannveig Lilja Garðarsdóttir, 69, who lives in Njarðvík on the Reykjanes Peninsula, with family roots in the Westfjords and South Iceland. Taught by her grandmother (born in 1900!) at age nine, she’s been knitting for 60 years and calls it both creativity and meditation. Her favorite place is the Reykjanes Peninsula and its lighthouse, where the powerful nature is never the same twice. She recommends Garðskagi for its ocean views, lighthouses and birdlife, plus a visit to Grindavík and the Reykjanes volcanic sites when conditions allow. Her favorite Icelandic food? Roast leg of lamb and fresh fish. And the biggest misconception? That Iceland is always freezing and dark. There are bright summer nights, sunny days and warm people too!
