The camp site Kleifar is by the road to Geirland, about 2,5 km from the town Kirkjubæjarklaustur. By the camp site is a beautiful waterfall called Stjórnarfoss. On a good summers day the water by the waterfall is warm enough to have a swim in it.
The camp site has two toilets, cold running water, benches and tables. Right opposite the camp site is a football field and a short distance away is Kirkjubæjarklaustur where you can find a grocery store, restaurant and a swimming pool.
