Meet Elín Adda Steinarsdóttir, 39, who believes knitting beats yoga any day! Born and raised on a farm near Egilsstaðir in East Iceland, she learned to knit at just five years old from her mother and grandmother and hasn't looked back. Her favorite place in Iceland is still her parents' farm, with its breathtaking views of the Dyrfjöll mountains. She loves traditional smoked lamb at Christmas and thinks visitors should slow down, skip the packed itineraries, and experience the quieter side of Iceland. Her perfect evening? A late-night drive to watch the stars and Northern Lights. Her biggest piece of advice? There's so much more to Iceland than Reykjavík, the Golden Circle, and the Blue Lagoon!
