Sölvanes

Sölvanes is a traditional sheep farm in a beautiful area, 21 km south of Varmahlid.  Accommodation in a seperate house „old farm” or in the actual farmhouse, where all guests have breakfast.  Dinner with the family is available, please book beforehand.  Short walks above the farm, such as up to the cliff Nónborg or north along the river Svartá. Longer walks on the mountain Mælifellshnjúkur or to the peaceful valley Austurdalur. Then one has to drive to the starting point of the walk.
