Glacier Tours

Snæfellsjökull Glacier is 1446 metres above sea level and one of the world‘s best-known glaciers. Snjófell offers tours upon the glacier by either snowcat or snowmobile. Several tours a day, depending on local weather conditions.

Accommodation

The guesthouse offers sleeping bag accommodation and made-up beds in 20 rooms for 45 people in a newly-renovated two-storey house. All rooms have a hand basin. Extra beds can be added in the rooms upon request. All meals are at the restaurant Arnarbær, only 50 metres away.  Arnarstapi has a large campsite well-suited for individuals, families or groups. Restaurant Arnarbær

Restaurant with traditional and friendly atmosphere. All kinds of food and drink are available for individuals and groups. From Arnarstapi, it is a short distance to bountiful fishing areas and so emphasis is placed on offering the best seafood which is specially prepared by the house chef. In addition, various meat and grill dishes are also available.
