Mjóeyri Travel Service

The Mjóeyri Travel service is ideally located on the outskirts of town Eskifjörður. The original family house, dating from 1895, is recently refurbished and preserves the atmosphere of yesteryear warmth and comfort.
Mjóeyri boasts a spectacular view of fjords Reydarfjörður and Eskifjörður and the surrounding mountains. Breakfast and dinner are optional if previously ordered.
Accommodation is offered in five rooms, single, double and triple rooms with joint cooking facilities, a living room and washroom facilities. All rooms have radio and TV. The premises are a no-smiking area. A spacious veranda lends access to sleeping bag facilities with cooking facilities and washroom.
Mjóeyri offers accommodation for 6-7 people in each of  five recent cottages, comfortably garnished with a veranda and excellent view. The cooking facilites are fully garnished. The living rooms include a couch which can be transformed into a comfortable queen-size bed. The upper storeys constitute a room with a double bed and an attic provides sleeping facilites for 2-3 persons. All cottages include internet access.
