Lýtingsstaðir Icelandic Horse Farm

On our farm Lýtingsstaðir, situated in the North of Iceland in Skagafjörður, we breed horses and offer a great variety of riding tours.
You can expect a friendly atmosphere and rather small groups at a stay on our farm.
We offer shorter and longer riding tours and treks, riding holidays on the farm and horse rental for a short visit.

We have also two small farm cottages for self catering to rent where you can enjoy the peaceful nature, the view throughout our valley, the mountains, the midnight sun and the horses around you. Complete your stay with a ride on our wonderful horses!
You can book the cottage for one night or for a whole week, depending on your travel plans. Reasonable prices, ideal for families! Every cottage has space for up to 5 people, kitchen and bathroom with shower and WC.
We are a fully licensed company and are authorized as a Travel Agency by the Icelandic Tourist Board.
