Húsey Hostel

Húsey is 60 km. north of Egilsstaðir and located between two glacial rivers, Jökulsá á Brú and LagarfIjót. The farmstead offers a splendid view of the surroundings and good many opportunities for exploring the virgin nature of the area.
This makes Húsey an ideal choice, be it  for your vacation or just for a few days. The Youth Hostel, located  in th so-called "Old Farm" has been renovated and offers beds as well as berths for visitors bringing their own sleeping bags. There is a recreation room for guests and shared kitchen facilities. Húsey is open all the year round.
