Guesthouse Engimýri

Engimyri Guesthouse is conviniently located in the valley of Oxnadalur, right by Highway number 1, only 34 km west of Akureyri. We’re open year-round and all our comfortable rooms are furnished with made up beds, TV and other necessities, in addtion to our spacious restaurant and the outdoor jacuzzi.

The lakes of Hraunsvatn and Thverbrekkuvatn are in walking distance from the Guesthouse, with its ample fishing, free of charge. The scenary in the valley is breathtaking and there is planty is explore as there are several hiking trails in the vicinity. Hunting is available in the fall and the swimming pool at Thelamork is only 15 minutes away.

At Engimýri we offer ATV tours in the beatyful Öxnadalur valley both for  individuals and groups. 
Various tours offered, suitable for everyone, including children, elderly and disabled. Tours from one hour tours to day tours to the highlands.
 
We can receive groups between 20-30 people in one go and offer to have  the party afterwards. If groups are larger, you can have dual group and the other half goes for games or light hiking.
