Eyvindará II

Guesthouse Eyvindará is a peaceful and forested haven in the close vicinity of town Egilsstaðir. The site enjoyes a scenic view over the surrounding region; Egilsstaðir and neighouring village Fellabær.

The guesthouse is situated just off the highway no. 94, just off the crossroads to Seyðisfjörður. This is the ideal hub for day trips round the East and the neigbouring highlands.

Eyvindará offers 9 double rooms with shared facilities; 12 newly furbished rooms with private facilities and a fabulous view of the idyllic countryside. Also lodgings suitable for families; 4 cozy cottages two of which have cooking facilities.

Meals and refreshments are served in the main house where you´ll also find wireless internet and laundry facilities.

Please contact for prices and booking information.  Dogs are not allowed during the summer months, June, July and August because of birds nesting but are welcome at other times.  Food service open during summer, June 1st - September 1st.
