Brunnhóll Icelandic Farm Holidays is a guesthouse and restaurant enjoying unparallelled views of the glacier. We are only 6 km from the Vatnajökull National Park and about 30 km from the nearest town, Höfn in Hornafjörður.

Brunnhóll is a family-friendly business which prides itself on personal service. The guesthouse has accommodation for over 40 persons and most rooms come with their own bathroom. We offer breakfast and dinner.

Particular emphasis is placed on variety, to ensure there is something for all tastes and that everyone will leave the table satisfied. Whenever possible we use products from the farm itself or from the immediate neighbourhood, whether dairy products, meat, vegetables or fish.  There is a constant supply of bread baked in our own kitchen and home-made pancakes and rhubarb jam are a fixed feature of our breakfast board. The famous farm made icecream, JÖKLAÍS (glacier Ice), is sold whole day.  It is produced on the farm.
The dining room is divided into two and seats around 60+, and offers a wide and spectacular view over the surrounding countryside.  It opens out onto a sheltered veranda, making it possible to sit outside and enjoy the peace and magnificence of the Icelandic landscape while eating your meals.

The next generation of the family lives at the neighbouring farm of Árbær, along with cows, horses, dogs and cats, providing visitors with a fascinating insight into traditional farming methods in Iceland and daily life in the country, and an intimate knowledge of local conditions.
